Since 1967 the Texas Association of Non-Public Schools has represented private schools in Texas. As the only organization advocating state-wide for the diverse needs of Texas' private schools, TANS provides:

• Protection for the standing of private school accreditation.
• Representation to state legislators and officeholders.
• Resources to assist schools in their compliance with state and federal guidelines.
